From the very first day, Rasulullah (ﷺ) had to endure opposition, difficulties and distress while conveying this message of light, but he put his body and soul and all his resources into carrying out his mission. He bore it all just so that his beloved Ummah would attain success in the Hereafter. Surely it is impossible to repay this immense favor of Rasulullah (ﷺ) ! Nevertheless, by giving us the invaluable gift of Salat and Salam , Allah (ﷻ) has not only taught us a method of declaring our limited perception of our indebtedness, but He has emphatically commanded us to engage in it (in Quran 33:56 ). Numerous virtues of reciting Durood have been narrated in the Ahadith . In view of these virtues and benefits, every Muslim should regularly recite Salawat in abundance, and include it in his/her daily practices.
