Futwa of Anwar Shah Kashmiri On Reciting Shain Lillah
About this book
Anwar Shah KAshmiri was a famous Islamic Scholar from Lolab, Kashmir. He taught Hadees in Darul Uloom Deoband and was hence known as Sheikh ul Hadees. As Kashmiri culture is mostly inspired by the Sufi traditions of Islam, and people mostly followed the teachings of Tassawuf, the practice of Istighasa (Seeking Help) was always very common. After the advent of Mordern Cults, Sects and Groups like Saudi Kingdom funded Political Movement called Wahhabism, many people, included the Founding members of Deoband became inclined to this cult and began criticising and labeling the Muslims as Disbelievers (Qafir) for doing Istighasa. Allama Anwar Shah Kashmiri Defended this Practice in his Fatwa and also adhered to the practice of Istighasa in his life time. I have attached a digital copy of the futwa that I received from a respectable religious figure of Kashmir and decided to digitize it for the benefit of the public in general and people with a taste in religious studies in particular. Hope you'll benefit from this work. Remember all those who made the text available and also those who made the scanning of the work possible in your prayers. Thanks and Regards, Mirza Jahanzeb Qadiri Beg
